About Jorge A. Perez, Esq.

Jorge A. Perez is the founder and sole attorney of J.A. Perez, P.A., a Florida law firm focused on business and commercial litigation, as well as landlord-tenant disputes. Admitted to The Florida Bar in 2014, Jorge has more than a decade of litigation experience representing individuals, businesses, business owners, and other clients in contested civil matters. Before founding J.A. Perez, P.A. in 2021, he practiced with established South Florida litigation firms, where he developed substantial experience handling business and commercial litigation matters.

Jorge founded J.A. Perez, P.A. with the goal of providing clients with direct attorney involvement, responsive communication, and efficient, cost-conscious representation. Because the Firm is a solo practice, clients work directly with Jorge throughout the representation. He personally handles each matter, remains closely involved in the facts and strategy of the case, and maintains consistent communication with his clients from the initial evaluation through resolution.

Jorge's approach to litigation is centered on the client's goals and the broader circumstances surrounding the dispute. He believes that effective representation requires more than identifying the strongest legal argument or pursuing litigation as aggressively as possible. The appropriate strategy should also account for the cost of litigation, potential exposure, timing, collectability, business relationships, operational disruption, settlement opportunities, and the client's long-term objectives.

For that reason, Jorge does not view taking every case to trial as the measure of successful representation. Depending on the circumstances, the best result for a client may come from resolving a dispute before litigation begins, negotiating a practical settlement, narrowing the issues through motion practice, or pursuing the matter through trial when necessary. The objective is to develop and execute a strategy that advances the client's interests while remaining attentive to the economic and practical consequences of litigation.

Jorge is fluent in English and Spanish and is available to communicate with clients in either language.
